Ok my community, listen up: I wanted to review some things and also make an introduction-

Mopsy, this is the World, meet Mopsy.

I’ve decided to start a blog/website/facecrap page to put all the things I think about or wish I could communicate to clients and friends. A plethora of diverse interests run amuck in my brain, and I felt like I needed to birth a place to have them take root. Dear Mopsy is my place that I can share hair knowledge with you, but I feel like my love for the old-timey, pirates, lingerie, costumery, and other delicious wickedness also has a place here. The name Mopsy is actually the only name that had enough nods to all of these things to be a moniker- so, it is.

First on the agenda; it’s been realized over time, three things:

1. I repeat myself too much. I want to help your hair problems and I have a lot of knowledge to do just that. It’s such wasted space and breath and energy, however, to tell each and every person the same info individually. I can now just refer you to this space 🙂

2. Confusion clogs the brain. Like the great Sherlock Holmes, I need to create a Mind Palace where info is categorized and retrievable. Right now, my personal fb page is a smosh of personal relationships- I don’t have any less love for those of you that I met through my job, I just need to spring clean my Mind Palace. Please don’t take any offense. I need to know where to find you, and this is the place for you in my Palace. It doesn’t mean we’re not friends.

3. There needs to be rules and boundaries. I will establish those shortly.

Now my disclaimer: this is raw and it’s a work in progress. Don’t judge. I’m terrible with computers and don’t particularly care for social media, so just go easy on my epically slow progression with this. I have so little breath and energy, this is merely the best solution for that, and ready or not (definitely not) here she is.
